Conformance status
This website targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, conformance level AA. We test continuously — automated (axe-core in our test pipeline) and manually (keyboard operation, screen reader spot checks, contrast, zoom up to 200%).
Measures taken
- Full keyboard operability with visible focus and a skip link to the main content
- Semantic structure with landmarks, a clear heading hierarchy and text alternatives
- AA-level contrast, no information conveyed by colour alone
- Respects the operating system setting “reduce motion”
- Controls with a minimum target size of 44 × 44 px on mobile

- Older articles may contain graphics whose text alternatives we are still refining.
